Japanese Wine Seminar is held

 On Sunday, October 17,2021, the Japanese Wine Seminar which was organized by University of Yamanashi, was held at the Satoshi Omura Museum.
 The purpose of the seminar was to inform the public about the efforts to raise the level of Japanese wines as a one of famous breweries.
 There were about 170 participants at the seminar, and some of them participated it online.
 In the first part, Misa Otoguro, Associate Professor, in the Institute of Enology and Viticulture who gave the lecture titled,” How to control the fermentation by the wild yeast? More tasty and safe for Japanese Wine “.
 She talked about the basic of the fermentation, the difference between fermentation and decomposition etc.
 In the second half of the seminar, Takayuki Tamura , Director form Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery Co., Ltd., who gave a talk on the explain of brewing wine with the wild yeast.
 The participants challenged the wine tasting with the commentary by Mr.Tamura .They tasted 4 different types of Chardonnay wine and tried to feel the difference of them.
