Social Gathering for International Students and Researchers

　A social gathering for international students and researchers was held on December10th 2025 at Kofu Campus. About 150 people, including community representative, international students and researchers together with their family members, and university staffs took part in the event this year.
　This event hosted by the President of University of Yamanashi, Mr. Kazuhiko Nakamura, aims at deepening mutual understanding among the international students and researchers, university staffs and community representatives.
　It started with a welcome address by the President and followed by the speeches from the Mayor of Kofu city.
　During the event, Halal food was served with religious backgrounds taken into consideration, and two international students from our university performed ‘See Tình’,  a popular song in Vietnam, and another student presented ‘Chhouy Chhay Neang Vilea,’ a traditional Cambodian dance. Everyone enjoyed it in a friendly atmosphere.
　At the end of the event, two students from China and Indonesia, representing the Faculty of Medicine Campus and Kofu Campus, expressed their appreciation.
