A Send-off Ceremony for Dispatched Nurses to Okinawa is held

　On Monday, May 23, a send-off ceremony for dispatched nurses to Okinawa was held at the university hospital.
　MEXT （Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology ）requested us to dispatch nurses to Okinawa which had been under severe medical pressure due to the rapid spread of Covid-19 infection since the end of Golden Week Holiday in May.
　We already have dispatched 15 nurses to Osaka and Okinawa. Ms. Mochizuki will be the 16^th dispatched murse.
　At the ceremony, President Shimada said,” Okinawa has a high number of infected patients for a long time, and the situation is close to a medical collapse. I hope her future activities in Okinawa.”
　Ms.Mochizuki is scheduled to spend two weeks at the Okinawa Prefectural Chubu Hospital  caring for infected patients.
　We plan to dispatch three more teams by the end of June.
