University of Yamanashi Satoshi Omura Memorial Fund Scholarship Awards Ceremony in 2022

　On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the University of Yamanashi Satoshi Omura ※ Memorial Fund Scholarship Awards Ceremony in 2022 was held at the Kofu campus.
　We founded the Satoshi Omura Memorial Fund Scholarship that based on Dr. Satoru Omura’s strong desire to encourage young people to pursue their studies.
　They provide non-repayable scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students.
　18 students were honored at the ceremony as this year’s award-winners.
　President Shimada said ,” We hope that you respond to Dr. Omura’s wishes by working even harder in your studies, and that you continue to play an active role in your respective fields after graduation.”

※ Prof Satoshi Ōmura, a graduate of the University of Yamanashi, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015.
