FY2021 the 1st Council for the Promotion of Cooperation between the 5 Towns in Kyonan area and the University of Yamanashi is held

 On Monday, November 15,2021, FY2021 the 1st Council for the Promotion of Cooperation between the 5 Towns in Kyonan area and the University of Yamanashi was held at the Satoshi Omura Museum.
 We concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with five Kyonan towns (Ichikawa Misato, Hayakawa, Minobu, Nanbu, and Fujikawa) for the purpose of cooperating in a wide range of fields including nature and environment, health and welfare, disaster prevention, education and culture, industry, science and technology, and tourism.
 As an initial collaborative activity, we decided to work on local disaster prevention, which is a high priority.
 The first Council was attended the members from the University and the five towns of Konan, as well as the Disaster Prevention Bureaue and the Center for the Kyonan Region in Yamanashi Prefecture, and we discussed efforts of the local disaster prevention and other issues.
 The Council will continue to discuss measures to resolve the issues.
