About Establishment of COVID-19 Infectious Disease Emergency Measures Fund/关于设立新冠病毒感染紧急对策基金

  The University of Yamanashi Hospital has established a dedicated inpatient ward to respond to the increasing spread of the COVID-19. And they are making daily efforts to deal with the situation.
  However, as recently report

ed in the press, as patients increases in Japan, there is a shortage of masks and protective clothing, diagnostic and treatment equipment, medical staff, and supporting staff.
  To sustain and expand medical care for the COVID-19 at our university hospital, we have established the Emergency Fund for Coronavirus Infectious Diseases focusing on medical care for the COVID-19.

　本校医学部附属医院，为了应对爆发式扩大的新型冠状病毒感染，新设置了专用的住院楼，每日持续推进医疗对策。
　但是，根据最近的报道，随着日本国内的患者人数的增加，就诊所需要的口罩、防护服、诊断・诊疗设备、医护人员以及其他的相关工作人员等都出现了资源短缺。并且，这种情况将有可能长期存在。
　因此，为了维持并扩大本校附属医院的新型冠状病毒感染的对症治疗，设立了专门用于新型冠状病毒感染的“新型冠状病毒感染紧急对策基金”。
