Malaysian Alumni Reunion at Kuala Lumpur

  On 23rd June, a reunion of Malaysian Alumni of University of Yamanashi was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  President Shimada, Professor Kumada (Dean of Faculty of Engineering), Professor Mao (Director of Center for International Education and Exchange), Ms. Ishii (Head of Office of International Affairs), 65 almuni and their families attended the reunion.
  Following the greetings from President Shimada and president of Alumni Association AFIF BIN AMIR, participants made self-introduction and reported their current situation. All Participants were very excited to see each other after a long time and enjoyed sharing the good memories about the studies and lives in University of Yamanashi.
  Currently, there are 24 Malaysian students are studying at University of Yamanashi. And more than 100 of Malaysian graduates are working actively in various fields after returning to their country.
  University of Yamanashi are constructing the network of international alumni for further promoting international exchanges and cooperations. This is a part of our mid-term plan attracting motivated students from various countries and building an international campus where all students can study together and collaborate well regardless of the difference in cultural and language.
