Held a orientation for “Tobitate! (Leap for Tomorrow) Study Abroad ”
TOBITATE Scholarship Orientation was held on 13 December 2017 at Kofu campus. TOBITATE is a joint project by Japanese government and private sectors aiming at cultivating global human resources through promoting student’s study abroad.
In the orientation, the graduate student who received the TOBITATE scholarship last year presented his experience in USA. 9 students, 4 from the faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, 3 from the faculty of Engineering, 2 from the faculty of Education participated the orientation.
For a week prior to the orientation, a poster jack, recommended by the TOBITATE project, has been implemented in the University library and G-philos room. Posters introducing the TOBITATE scholarship winners’ activities in the various areas of the world have been exhibited and attracted large attentions.
In the orientation, almost all the participants asked questions and received advices from graduate student. All of them showed their great interest in study abroad and TOBITATE project.
