Social Gathering for International Students and Researchers

 Asocial gathering for international students and researchers was held on Dec 4^th 2017 at Kofu Campus. About 140 people including community representative, international students andresearchers together with their family members, and university staff took part in the party.

 This annual evnt aims at mutual understanding among the international students and researchers, university staff and community representatives.

 The gathering started with a welcome address by the President of University of Yamanashi, Dr. Shinji Shimada followed by the speeches from the Mayer of Kofu city, the Mayer of Chuo city and the representatives of international students.

 The event was further warmed up by the stand-up comedy in Japanese by a student from Pakistani, a chorus by the residents of international dormitory.
