COVID‑19 vaccination for Hight School Students in Yamanashi Prefecture has started

On Friday, September 24, 2021, the COVID‑19 vaccination for Hight School Students in Yamanashi Prefecture has started at the union hall of Kofu campus in the University of Yamanashi.
This vaccination was held as a part of the workplace vaccination by our request to Yamanashi Pref. that we would like to support to reduce risk from being infected with COVID‑19 in high schools.
About 340 students were vaccinated on the first day. We planned to give the vaccination to more about 1,300 students on September 25th , October 1st and 2nd .
President Shinji Shimada said,” I think the vaccination will help the students feel safer in schools.”
We will continue to concentrate our efforts on taking counter measures against COVID-19.
