Welcome Party for University of Yamanashi Japanese Language and Culture Program 2017

 Welcome Party for University of Yamanashi Summer Program (UYSP) on Japanese Language and Culture, was held at Kofu Campus on July 3^rd, 2017.

 This Summer Program is launched by the Center for International Education and Exchange aiming for further strengthening the partnership with oversea partner universities and advancing the  internationalization of education. 24 students from Universtity of Technology Sidney, Australia, and Hangzhou Dianzi University,China enrolled in program.

 The party started with a welcome address by the Executive Director, Mr. Tetsuo Hori, followed by speeches from the representatives of our students and the international students. Around 80 participants, including our students and staffs, enjoyed the partyvery much.

 The three week program will be operated by the Center for International Education and Exchange in cooperation with the Office of International Affairs as well as other relevant departments. The participants of the program will learn Japanese and Japanese culture and join various exchange activies with the students of University of Yamanashi. About 60 students of University of Yamanashi volunteer to support international students during their stay. All the international students and local studentswill be learning language and culture from each other through this international exchange experience.
