Mr. Tomoaki Negishi (M1) received Student Honorable Mentions at the IPSJ national convention

 Mr. Tomoaki Negishi, a master student in computer science and engineering course received Student Honorable Mentions at the 79th national convention of IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan) on March 16th – 18th, 2017.

 His paper, “Alpine Plants Recognition with Deep Convolutional Neural Network” (adviser: Motonobu Hattori, associate professor in computer science and engineering).

 Student Honorable Mentions are given to students who have presented an outstanding paper at the convention.
