Workshop for Improving English Pronunciation
“Workshop for Improving Your English Pronunciation” was held by the Center for International Exchange and Education on Wednesday, Nov. 9th at Kofu Campus. The participants learned how to speak English like a native speaker.
The workshop was planned and implemented by the professional English Language Learning advisors based on the Center, who demonstrated the useful knack of pronouncing English just like a native speaker and exercised the participants in pronunciation during the session.
40 participants consisting of students, academic and administrative staff members took notes of advice from the advisors and practiced pronunciation by themselves with strong enthusiasm.
Each participant satisfactorily learned the tips of the sophisticated English pronunciation. After the workshop some students commented “Today’s workshop was very useful for my presentation in English.”, “Although I was not aware of the importance of pronunciation before, I would like to utilize the skills for my daily English study”. An administrative staff member said “I will apply the know-how learned today for supporting international students”.
