International Symposium “Laser control technology for innovation of biomedical and electronics” was held in Taiwan

Honma-Ito Laboratory of department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Yamanashi hosted an international symposium “Laser control technology for innovation of biomedical and electronics” at National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu city, Taiwan from September 1 to September 2, 2023. In this symposium, 12 invited talks, 31 posters with short presentations, and 2 organizer’s talks were presented. It was held jointly by University of Yamanashi, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, total of 60 people, 37 from Taiwan and 23 from Japan were participated.
During the symposium, world-class researchers and students specializing in laser control came together to propose a variety of innovative ideas for applications in fields ranging from biomedical applications to electronic properties and next-generation memory. Discussions and exchanges between Taiwanese and Japanese students were very active, contributing greatly to the development of human resources who can play an active role on the international stage.
