Summary
In the division of Advanced Medical Science, we develop a new examination
and treatment methods for various diseases. Also, we train doctors
and medical researchers who can clinically apply a highly advanced
treatment such as regenerative medicine. Educational studies are
conducted in the field related with a development of original medical
equipments, examination methods, and treatment methods for the purpose
to recover and to supplement the weakened/lost human functions of
senior citizens and people who have handicaps with their physical
functions by receiving guidance from instructors in other departments.
Talent to be trained
We train high-skilled technicians, doctors, and researchers who are familiar with advanced medicine or personnel who engage in research promotions and the design and the production of medical equipments of all kinds and who can make a great contribution to propel advanced medicine and to improve QOL of disabled people, while understanding requests of both patients and medical personnel. Therefore, it is expected that students majored in Advanced Medical Science play active roles as doctors and leaders who examine, treat and give rehabilitation training to patients in hospitals and welfare facilities, the person in charge of development at manufacture of medical equipments, and coordinators in the future.
