Summary
In highly information-oriented and machine-oriented societies today,
major problems are developing concerning the construction and management
of a large-scaled system since there are not enough professionals
who can see through the large, complicated system entirely. To stimulate
to make more changes and to improve the power of our country to
compete internationally under such condition, it is the most urgent
task to train professionals who can see through the entire system
and tackle research and development. That is our goal to train such
talents.
Our division considers software, information communication network,
production system, and human-machine system as four pillars and
conduct educational researches to provide wide-ranged business solutions
from production systems based on these four pillars to various business
systems. Through those researches, we train professionals who can
lead system development projects as well as who possess the basic
academic ability which is accepted internationally and who analyze,
design, construct, manage, and evaluate various production systems
and business systems by making full use of new technologies of production
and information /communication technologies.
