Sustainable Society Studies

Summary

Our division was founded in order to train talented people who can contribute to a sustainable society.
In The Basic Environment Plan of Japan,"Circulation" "Symbiosis" "Participation" and "International Activities" are expressed as long term goal which forms the sustainable society. A "Kou(Happiness)-Jyu(Live)-Ken(Prefecture) Plan" is announced in Yamanashi Prefecture. The establishment of our division responds to these national and local requests.
Our organization consists of not only natural science but also humanity social science. We clarify the condition of sustainable society from the various viewpoints.
