Summary
The division of Medical Science is designed to train professionals
who possess the advanced high-technologies and interdisciplinary
knowledge to put the result of life sciences and social medicine
researches into practice at medical institutions, health and medical
administration, and health education field as well as to train researchers
who will become leaders in life science researches. As an example,
we take an active part in training advanced medical professionals
through Genetic Counselors Training Program.
Educationally, students who have not studied medical sciences are
taken into consideration so that they can sufficiently learn basics
of medicine. Students establish ideas about ethical, legal, and
social issues against a high-technology treatment by cultivating
medical ethics and medical research ethics needed for professional
technicians as well.
Furthermore, adult students study for concrete on-site problem solutions,
considering Master's course in Medical Sciences as a place to reeducate
talents for medical, administration, and education area and a place
for high-technology education.

Advisor system starts at entry
To enable students to research for full two years, the theme of graduation thesis is decided in the early stage and an advisor is appointed for each student prior to admission to the school so that students can receive the guidance immediately. Our advisors' fields of study are diverse, from Life Science to Social Medical Science and Clinical study. We are confident that we have the sufficient professorate who can meet the needs of students. As for the determination of an advisor, we are open for consultations from before the examination.
